Green World Trading Ltd is a total waste management solutions company.

Launched in 2009 by Ian Longstaff, who has over 8 years experience in recycling.
Ian was the operations manager for the first company in the United Kingdom to introduce a complete auto motive recycling system,
from here Ian worked for numerous other recycling companies learning more about the worldwide recycling markets.

Green World Trading Ltd was originally launched to recycle spent lead acid batteries, the company has grown from strength to strength over the last year,
moving in to recycling of all recyclable materials.

Green World Trading Ltd has its own dedicated vehicles to cover its nationwide collections. The vehicles carry weighing scales, this enables us to weigh all consignments prior to departing from the customer’s site. We pay very competitive revenue for your recyclable material.

Over the last year and half Green World Trading Ltd has secured contracts with manufactures and distributors nationwide. In 2009 we recycled over 2000 tonne of spent batteries.

In November 2009 Green World Trading Ltd was awarded a national contract to collect on behalf of a large battery manufacture.

In January 2010 Green World Trading Ltd was Approved by the Environmental Agency as a Automotive, Industrial and Portable battery exporter (ABE).

In October 2010 Green World Trading Ltd was Certified ISO 14001 & 9001, confirming its position as an environmentally friendly company.
